Swans are revered creatures associated with the sacred Well of Urd, with nourishes the Yggdrasil. As depicted in the Prose Edda, the water from this well possesses purity so profound that anything it touches turns white, including the original pair of swans and their descendants. Furthermore, Svanhvit, also known as the Swan Cloak, holds significance as an enchanted garment crafted by Odin for the Valkyries that grants them the ability to soar through the skies and become invisible, symbolizing the swan's role as a symbol of opening or revealing hidden aspects.
